When growing up my sister and I experienced so much fear.
We moved house regularly and every house we moved into had a demonic presence.
We would go to bed at night clinging to each other dreading the time when the radio closed down for the night because it was in the silence that we felt the most afraid because then we could hear the sounds and feel the sensations of the demons.
We could sense an evil presence around us and didn’t want to open our eyes because we were afraid of what we might see if we did.
As an adult, things got even worse but in a different way. Along with still being aware of the spiritual darkness surrounding me, I continually experienced demonic attacks of rejection, anger, fear, guilt and failure, but I had no control over these feelings and they were mainly totally irrational. It was the demonic realm that had the control over me at those times.
I didn’t know what acceptance, peace and true joy were because they can only be found in Jesus.
Neither did my family
I finally came to know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and was baptized in the year 2000.
But I still wasn’t free….
Trails still continued to plague me and members of my family. Some too graphic to go into detail, but many of these trials caused injury and some were life threatening.
I asked God to show me what was going on and He said it was a family curse going back many generations. Then He showed me a picture of a ‘witch being burned at the stake’. That explained clearly why the demonic activity was regularly moving with us from one house to the next particularly whilst growing up!!
I then realised what had to be done. Deliverance and the long-standing generational curse breaking.
When David, Donna and the boys started attending our church. I approached David and explained the situation to him and asked if he could help. He said ‘yes’ and we arranged for him and Donna to come and meet with my sister and I.
A successful deliverance followed and many demons were expelled from me and my sister. This left me totally free and I was finally able to forgive and move on from the painful experiences of the past.
The family curse in my life broke and changes are beginning to take place.
It has also enabled me to grow in understanding the healing and deliverance ministry which Jesus has firmly placed within my heart. I now have a very strong God given passion to evangelise the world around me and set others free too in the mighty name of Jesus. No experience is wasted with God!!
I thank my amazing God for what HE has done, changing my life of fear into joy and victory.
