God spoke to me
Just before David opened his Bible, he prayed to God and asked the Lord to clearly speak to him (he doesn’t often do that with such a specific focus). Then David opened his bible to read on where he finished the last time and read
2. Sam. 18:1-2.
(And David numbered the people that were with him, and set captains of thousands and captains of hundreds over them. And David sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go forth with you myself also.)
That was very powerful as it was a strong confirmation from God to David (what he had already in his heart) to have different GAM (Gospel Alive Ministries) directors of the different countries in East Africa and eventually send them out into the war (gospel crusades) with a team. So our vision for East Africa is to work in each country running crusades followed by a Foundational Christian Course for the new born and then ending with a three days intensive Evangelist school. And God willing we intend to establish an Evangelist School at each place where people will meet and then also go out together to share the gospel. So it’s a huge vision and we need a lot of prayer for this. Thank you for praying and standing with us!
Open-airs
Some people are interested to know how open-airs look like. Here is a snippet of one we have partly filmed:

On many open-airs we have met individuals who are showing a hunger for the real life with God, but so often we find them entrenched with a total wrong and distorted view about God which is a big hindrance in many cases. We would need much more time with them but we trust God that we could be a link in the chain for their future salvation.
Amazing guidance – better than the best SatNav 🙂
Since a few years, but especially the last months David has many times thought of a man he hadn’t seen since 20 years. It was the very first person ever who told David about Jesus, when he was 10 years old. But sadly that boy grew up, got involved into gangs and was nearly killed. He totally left his faith for many years. David’s friend was not on facebook. David had no idea how to find that man. Then David went to Switzerland for a short unexpected trip to minister and as he was just about to cross a road David got a tap on his shoulder and guess who it was? David’s old friend. They both were so happy for that re-union. He also was looking for David over the years. Only God can do that!!! We have an amazing God! And the fantastic news was that David’s friend in the mean-time had re-committed his life to Jesus.
Broken toe healed!
I just wanted to share with you an amazing answer to prayer. I had tripped and fallen and in doing so managed to break my middle toe and was in a lot of pain. It was very bruised and swollen and I could not put any weight on it. I also could not put my foot in shoes as the pain was too much. The nurse said that there was nothing they could do about it but that it would take 3-6 weeks to heal if I kept my weight off of it.
Naturally I was quite upset about that. During a telephone conversation I told David what I had done and he said “Would you like to pray about it?” I said, “Yes.” He then said, “Put your hand on your toe and we will pray.” David prayed for it to be healed and for the pain and bruising to be gone.
The next day when I got up I forgot about my toe and was walking around the house as normal when I remembered! I realized that I had felt no pain on walking or standing on it. When I looked down I saw that the bruising and swelling were gone and that it felt normal again. I have had no problem with it since! Praise the Lord!
