Saved in the park

It was absolutely awesome to lead a couple to Christ in a park of Peterborough. After explaining how to get born again with the Nicodemus and Ephesians passages we all knelt down and they repented and gave their lives to Jesus. We are staying in touch with them and disciple them. Please pray for them in their new walk with Jesus.

Becoming a Christian in the park

I have always had belief of the Lord in the back of my mind through my life. Since having children I have realised this it is a good thing to bring my belief to the fore for the benefit of myself and my family. I knelt in the park with my partner and asked Jesus into my life. I repented of my sins and asked for forgiveness. I felt a struggle while this was happening and tenseness, which was washed away. Since then I have found I have been drawn away from idle gossip at work and I have been encouraging my colleagues to be kinder to each other so I can feel the Holy Spirit is really working in me! David and Donna have been guiding us in our new lives, I have started reading the bible and praying. I have a lot to find out and learn as we are just beginning out journey, but I am excited for what comes next!

I’d been involved in the new age for over 10 years and, as I was sinking deeper into it, I had my eyes opened  to how bad it is. Once I found out the truth, I was shocked, but never looked back. I felt Jesus pulling me towards Him, leading me out of the darkness and I knew I had to be born-again. I knelt down in a park and prayed and repented for forgiveness of my sins. I asked Jesus to come into my life and for Him to fill me with the Holy Spirit. I felt calm and peace wash over me and felt so much lighter! I have since had deliverance from dark spirits that attached from the new age. With each one that leaves I feel lighter and more determined to live in the Spirit. I am so thankful and grateful that Jesus worked so hard to drag me out of the new age before it was too late. He also worked wonders to lead me to David and Donna who have been helping and guiding me as I start my new life!

David has become a mentor in Uganda

The pastors of ‘Jesus Cares Pentecostal Ministry’ in Uganda have asked if David could become their mentor. David preached a lot to every cell group through mp3 files. These preaching sessions were instrumental of at least 85 people being saved. Hallelujah! They are now being looked after and discipled. These churches are now growing fast and we are so excited to make a big impact in the kingdom of God through your prayers.

 

Setting up to reach masses

We are in the progress of training Evangelist Teachers who will, then, each in turn train many to become evangelists. Once they have undergone the training, they will go out to evangelise
twi- ce a month. At the moment we are setting up four Gospel Alive Ministries Evangelist Schools. Please pray for this project so that the enemy will not be able to destroy it.

 

Chicken project in Tanzania

The physical needs are vast, especially for widows and handicapped people. They greatly rejoice when we give them maize. However, it only lasts for two to four weeks and then they are back to square one. We can now change their lives and help them to sustain themselves by generating their own income. We give them 4 chicken and 1 rooster so that as well as they can sell the eggs and produce more chickens. This is a life changing factor for every single widow who is privileged to receive this blessing. If God puts it on your heart to bless a widow with a long lasting

Christmas present, then you can grant this blessing for just £20.- which will provide them with 4 chickens and 1 rooster. We also educate them how to look after the chicken and most important share the life changing gospel with the them.

Evangelising at the protest

Together with a friend, we both gave out lots of gospel tracts and witnessed to a few people at a protest in London; one man at length, who is a Roman Catholic. It was very noticeable how receptive people were to take them, and so many people actually said ‘Thank you’! It was amazing to be tapped on the shoulder and asked ‘Can i have one too?’ And a few others also asking for one – can’t remember that happening before! We pray the Lord will water those seeds sown. We never know what ‘link in the chain’ it is for them to come to Christ.
