Switzerland Trip

Thank you all so much for your faithful prayer support. God indeed answered it amazingly. We had powerful meetings where the Holy Spirit was present. Many commented how much they were touched by God. On one occasion there was an unsaved lady there who in the end during the prayer time, addressed God with the following words: “Hi God”. That was opening her stony heart towards God. Then she witnessed to us after the meeting with tears rolling down that God immediately replied to her with “Hi …., I love you”. She heard it so clearly that she melted down.

A few people got delivered from demonic strongholds and felt the freedom immediately afterwards. We were reported that one man felt a real breakthrough in his spiritual life after David prayed for him in the end of the meeting. A lot of time was also spent with counselling and God could shine light and hope into many lives.

It was also amazing to see how a lady who hardly could sit on the chair because of her strong back ache was immediately healed after David prayed for her.

We praise God so much for all He had done during that time in Switzerland and give HIM all the glory.

Anti Female Genital Mutilation Project – Uganda

In the last newsletter we mentioned of a return trip to address the pressing issue of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) prevalent among the Sebbi and Pokot tribes. Our team went in October. With a mission rooted in compassion and biblical principles, we sought to bring awareness, education, and lasting change to communities struggling with this harmful practice.

FGM, deeply entrenched in cultural traditions, has long affected the women and girls of these tribes, leaving a lasting impact on their health, well-being, and psychological harm.

Over the course of the trip, twelve community meetings were held, where we engaged 500+ individuals, raising awareness about the dangers of FGM. In addition to community outreach, training sessions were conducted, educating 20 local leaders, 10 healthcare workers, and 15 educators on how to lead the fight against FGM within their communities. We also held discussions with five government officials, five traditional leaders, and five influencers, encouraging their involvement in advocating for change. A critical part of our effort involved appointing ten young girls as leaders to champion anti-FGM initiatives, empowering the next generation to take a stand. To further solidify our message, the team distributed 20 anti-FGM materials, including posters and leaflets, throughout the communities to ensure continued awareness and education.

This combination of community engagement, training, strategic partnerships, and youth empowerment laid the groundwork for sustainable change in the fight against FGM. We covet your prayers as we continue to fight this big battle in Eastern Uganda.

Huge Steps – Registrations

Another fantastic news is that we have completed the registration of TPN (Tanzanian Pastors Network), the Gospel Alive Churches in Tanzania as well as the Gospel Alive Church in Switzerland. These are all huge steps accomplished. We praise God for all of that! Thank you so much for your prayers!

TESTIMONY – My Physical Eyes Can See Clearly Again (Sonja)

Quite a few weeks ago on Sunday, David Ohin preached at our church. After the message, I asked him if he could pray for me. Although many people wanted to talk to him, he took time for me and prayed for me. After the prayer, I felt light and free. Shortly afterwards, I realised that I could also see clearly again. I almost couldn’t believe it and every day I realised that I could still see clearly. A few weeks later I went to an optician and had an eye test. The optician also confirmed that I no longer needed my lenses and glasses as I could see clearly again. I hadn’t been able to see clearly for over 12 years. Blessed be the Lord! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank David for being so passionate about the Lord. I am very happy and grateful for this. May God continue to bless him richly.

Thank you very much for praying for us.
